Sierra Leone Women’s Premier League has commenced training for clubs, Secretary Generals and team captains for the twelve female Premier League Clubs.

The rationale behind the training is to help the coaches and team captains understand the culture of female football and help them to understand the challenges and how to overcome those challenges.

Ibrahim Bah, the Technical Director of the Sierra Leone Football Association who doubles as Facilitator of the training, when speaking to WPL Media, stated that the training will help the captains and head coaches of these clubs to have good communication skills to interact with referees, team officials and footballers from the various teams in the league.

The Sierra Leone Women’s Premier League is set to kick-Off on 23rd December 2023 at the Southern Arena Stadium.

The last edition of the League sees many talents across the Country with lots of potentials as MOGBWEMO QUEENS FC won the League, a team based in Rutile the Southern Province of Sierra Leone

This year’s edition of the League has been described as an entertaining League season with high intensity from the 12 Female Premier League clubs.
