Graduates from the Sierra Leone Organization of Industrialization Centre in Bo have lauded Hon. Mustapha Musa Sellu representing Constituency 95 in the Moyamba district for sponsoring them to go through their various courses ranging from electrical engineering, agriculture, mental work and driving from his constituency.
An interviewed with one of the graduates, who graduated with certificate in electrical engineering, Mr. Albert Tua appreciated Hon. Mustapha Musa Sellu from transforming their lives, adding that the MP is complimenting the efforts of President Julius Maada Bio. He said the MP sponsored over twenty students to study at SLOIC from the Constituency. He said Hon. Sellu paid their fees, other charges and sometimes he even provides feeding for them.
He disclosed that ever since in the history of the Constituency he is the first MP that has supported and contributed to build the human resource capacity of his constituents on to that level. He noted that when he sat to the WASSCE, he didn’t get university requirements but today he appreciated God for the turnaround in his life.
He called on everybody the constituency to embrace and work with Hon. Sellu, noting that Hon. Sellu has kind heart for his constituents. He also called them to be patient.
Mr Tua appealed to Hon. Sellu to continue with support, noting that they are great full to God and the MP but to get job is another huge challenged. He appealed to help them to acquire job.
In his congratulating message Hon. Sellu, it was a 3 years project with an objective of building the technical capacity of youths through a TVET program at SLOIC.
He said as an development expert he decided to support 10 youths both Male and females to pursue technical courses in various field of studies ranging from electrical, plumbing, masonry etc the first set of students graduated last week in Bo City.
He noted that the project covers 100% tuition fees, transportation allowance, and weekly stipend provision of working tools. He added that project aims to build the middle man level power of my constituents in preparedness for the coming of Sierra Rutile Company in the event they want to engage technical staff we already have ready-made indigenes to fill those vacant positions.
