Newly promoted Waterloo FC have completed the signing of goalkeeper Mohamed Nbalie Kamara, commonly known as Fabianski, ahead of the 2026/2027 Leone Rock Premier League season.
The club completed the signing on 25 September 2026 for an undisclosed fee, as they strengthen their squad for their debut campaign in Sierra Leone’s top-flight league.
The signing has generated excitement in Waterloo, with the club describing Fabianski as a highly-rated shot-stopper expected to bring experience and quality to the team.
Known for his commanding presence, quick reflexes and ability to distribute the ball, Fabianski is expected to play an important role as Waterloo FC prepare for the challenges of the Premier League.
The club’s executive welcomed Mohamed Nbalie Kamara to the team and expressed confidence in his contribution as preparations intensify for the new league campaign.
Waterloo FC, popularly known as the “Fry Fish and Cassava Bread Boys,” secured promotion to the Leone Rock Premier League and will be aiming to maintain their top-flight status.
The Leone Rock Premier League Board has announced that the 2026/2027 season will kick off on 10 October 2026.
