Twins and Multiple Births Sierra Leone (TMBSL) has secured 25 scholarships for its members to pursue diploma-level programmes at Comprehensive International College during the 2026/2027 academic year.
The scholarships will provide selected members with opportunities to acquire professional qualifications and skills aimed at supporting their personal development and future livelihoods.
The initiative forms part of TMBSL’s efforts to promote educational advancement and socio-economic empowerment among twins and multiple-birth families across Sierra Leone.
TMBSL expressed appreciation to Comprehensive International College for supporting its members through the scholarship programme, describing the initiative as an important step towards expanding educational opportunities for twins and multiple-birth families.
Under the arrangement, the 25 beneficiaries will enrol in diploma programmes at Comprehensive International College during the current academic year.
The organization said education and skills development remain important components of its broader efforts to improve the welfare and opportunities available to its members.
TMBSL continues to advocate for greater recognition, inclusion and support for twins and multiple-birth families, while working with institutions and development partners to advance their educational and socio-economic prospects.
The scholarship programme is expected to enhance the beneficiaries’ professional development and create opportunities for them to contribute more meaningfully to their communities and the wider economy.
