Presidential Candidate for Sierra Leone’s main opposition, All People’s Congress (APC) is set to address members of his party.
According to Samura Kamara’s Spokesperson, Foday Sadiq Konteh confirmed the public address but failed to make known the actual date and venue for the address.
Konteh stated that the address will also be the first time their leader will be addressing his supporters after losing the June 24th polls to President Julius Maada Bio of the incumbent party (SLPP).
Konteh said they still believe they did not lose the election but that it was stolen from (Dr Samura Kamara) him.
Most members of the main opposition still share similar belief that the 24 June elections were arranged in favour of the incumbent Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP).
The party leadership has called on the Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL) to release data collated at polling centres.
The Commission said results were released by district which is in conformity with the Public Election Act (PEA).
