The new vibration empire (NVE, which is a team comprised of 12 talented up and coming artists has organized its second summer festival at the ministry of works carpark, New England Ville, Freetown, on Saturday 11th November 2023.
Fans of the group in Freetown thronged the event in large numbers to witness the performance of their local musical heroes.
The expectations of the fans were met and their appetite wetted by exhilarating performances by every member of the NVE.
MC JJB and his female counterpart Nakama were in total control of the mike.
Before the start of the show, each of the 12 artists was introduced on a glittering and brightly lighted stage amidst rapturous applause from the fans as each name was called.
Amidst the hysteria from fans who were desperate to touch and accompany the artists on stage, the security personnel acted professionally to keep the crowd at bay in order to give leeway to the artists to perform.
After the assembly of the crew on stage, an atmosphere of surprise engulfed the event, as some NVE artists were awarded by management with certificates for different achievements, alongside some well-wishers in the community.
Allem B went away with the best song certificate for the hit `Biya`,whiles KINGDONKISH becomes the biggest winner of the night, as he carted away with two certificates for best video and best artist respectively.
ABOPE took home the certificate for best performance, whiles GUCCI BABY took pride in the best behaved artist certificate.
The chairman and chairlady of the New England Ville Okada riders Association were also recognized with certificates for the unflinching support rendered to the group at all times.
Thereafter, guest artists including KOKOCHIOR of the GIN n JUICE fame were given the stage by way of a preparatory performance to open the podium for the NVE.
Artist after artist, all the 12 members of the NVE did put up a wonderful performance to the admiration and satisfaction of the fans who paid NLE30 to grace the show.
As the performance ensued, the relationship between the NVE and the fans resembles a long-term marriage between couples. Fans can easily relate to their songs by singing choruses and miming the lyrics.
The choreography of the NVE dancers was top-notch as they accompany each artist on stage adorned in different costumes as dictated by the genre of the song in performance.
After the last performance of the song u mama in mama by Young Leo, a request was made by the Chief Executive Officer of the NVE Dr Jackson Blamo for the youngest artist in the New England Ville community `professor` to be accorded the opportunity to show case his talent.
The performance of the 6 years of age `professor` captured the imagination of every one at the event. Everyone was in awe of the musical talent of the prodigy.
It should be noted that the proceeds from the last summer festival in 2022 were used to support 9 elementary schools with note books and pens in the New England Ville community in Freetown.
