A twenty seven (27) year old man identified as Suliaman Bah AKA Demon formerly of Gbongor Lane in Gbense chiefdom Koidu city Kono district has been found hung dead in an unfinished building at the aforementioned address on Monday 13th March,2023.
According to reliable sources, the deceased prior to his demise was always taking kush an illegal substance that has become the order of the day among the young and aged in the country and other parts of the world.
The cause of death of the deceased has not yet been made known to the public as police investigation is ongoing.
Meanwhile, some locals of Koidu city and Gbongor Lane have reportedly described Suliaman Bah AKA Demon as a life time drug addict.
The mother of the deceased Mrs Bah told our correspondent that for the past five days she has stopped seeing her son who she said was a lunatic that she usually takes to the psychiatry department at the Koidu government hospital for medical treatment.
Some residents of Gbongor Lane in Koidu city also confirmed that prior to the death of the twenty seven years old Suliaman Bah they saw him walking along the said Gbongor Lane.
However, there are indications that someone was trying to hide something within the said unfinished building when the incident was discovered thus leading some people to suspect a foul play.
Sahr Wangima is the chief of Gbongor Lane in Koidu city, in an interview with this medium he maintained that he was at home when he received a call reporting the discovery of the said corpse in an unfinished building noting he wasted no time to inform his superior about the issue.
“My superior then told me to equally inform the police about the issue which l did”, chief Wangima stressed.Nannah Jalloh Conteh is the Koidu New Sembehun city council environmental safety officer.
She told A-Z that upon receiving the information she visited the scene of crime together with her team and wasted no time to cut off the rope which the deceased allegedly hung himself and removed his decomposed remains from the unfinished building after the police have done the necessary investigation at the scene of crime.
Meanwhile as police investigation continues the mortal remains of Suliaman Bah AKA Demon have been buried owing to it’s decomposed nature.
