On July 11, 2026, Ivorian Sillah and the Borbor Barrie Foundation provided a significant boost to the Central One Football Association by donating sports equipment ahead of the 2026 Inter-Community League Champions League.
Philips Cline Cole, Chairman of the Central One Football Association, expressed gratitude for the timely support, noting that it arrived just as the Association was gearing up for another competitive season. He acknowledged the Ivorian Sillah and Borbor Barrie Foundation as honorary members dedicated to assisting the Association during crucial times, emphasizing their commitment to ensuring the equipment is used effectively as the Inter-Community Champions League approaches.
Since last year, the Central One Football Association has actively promoted the Foundation’s “Say No to Drugs” campaign, which has been well-received in various communities across the country. Momoh Man, an outreach representative for the campaign, highlighted the Association’s role as a key partner in spreading this important message through football.
This partnership has flourished over the past five years, with the Foundation consistently providing equipment to the Association before competitions. This year’s contribution marked a notable increase, with items valued at over a thousand dollars.
The Ivorian Sillah and Borbor Barrie Foundation’s donation included forty medals for winners and runners-up, twelve footballs, seventy captain armbands, twelve sets of jerseys for match officials, and accompanying socks. This support aims to ensure a successful competition for the 2026 edition, where 32 community teams will vie for the prestigious Champions Trophy.
