Goderich Nursery and Preparatory school on the 5th December 2021 appreciate seven pupils for their excellent performance in school by giving them authority for them to help their colleagues, Hannah Langley is now the Head-Girl of the School and Francis S.W Cole is now the Head-Boy and five others pupils become the prefects.
The Chairman that grace this occasion Christopher Dove advised the pupils to take their work very serious he said in January 1983 he was once a pupil in the school and now he stands before them as a teacher he said the Government is focus on education let them use these opportunities.
He gives scholarship to one pupil from primary school to senior secondary school.
He speaks with the parents present on that day, he said nobody will be happy for Him/her to see their children in the street as a prostitute or as a thief’s he encouraged them to Pray for their children, “Learning is better than silver or Gold” he concluded.
The Head-Mistress Albertina Jones appreciate the Teacher’s by giving them certificates she also give some of the pupils prize because of their performance, conduct, outstanding work she told the parents to put more emphasis on their works because he knew they can do more.
The Head-Girl Hannah Langley said this is her first Prize-giving ceremony since she enrolled at the school from Nursery and now she’s in prep Six as their Head-Girl.
She pleaded with her colleagues to focus on their studies.
Speaking to one of the pupils James Kamara said he was so happy he said this was his first time to see the birth of Jesus christ and he was the Angel that appeared to Mary at the same time he was giving prize.
