At the SLFA Academy, the in-form Bai Bureh Warriors claimed a 3-1 victory over SLIFA. Mohamed S. Mansaray opened the scoring in the 45th minute, maintaining the lead through halftime. An own goal from Ayo Uzochoku extended the Warriors’ advantage to 2-0, but Ernest George managed to pull one back for SLIFA. However, Abdul Bangura sealed the win for Bai Bureh Warriors, finishing the match at 3-1.

Since Coach Zappa’s appointment, Bai Bureh Warriors have garnered more points from winning positions than any other team.

East End Lions Stage Dramatic Comeback to Beat Luawa 3-2

In an exhilarating match, East End Lions overcame Luawa 3-2 after trailing 2-0. Alhaji Condeh opened the scoring for Luawa in the 14th minute, and they maintained this lead throughout the first half. Luawa extended their lead with a goal from Abass Sesay in the second half. However, East End Lions responded with a strike from Abdulai Nyameke, followed by an equalizer from Sulaiman S. Kargbo in the 84th minute. Just as a draw seemed imminent, Kargbo struck again, securing a dramatic victory for the hosts.

Only Bhantal (9) has conceded fewer goals this season than East End Lions (16).
