Two persons, identified as Haja Massagoui and Ismail Denis Conteh, have been remanded by the court over an alleged conspiracy to commit murder.
The accused persons are before the court on a count of conspiracy to murder, contrary to the relevant provisions of the Offences Against the Person Act, 1861.
According to the particulars of the alleged offence, the accused persons are alleged to have conspired to commit murder on 26 July 2026 at Kamager/Kam… in Freetown.
Police records indicated that the matter was reported and subsequently investigated before the accused persons were arrested and brought before the court to answer to the allegation.
Following their appearance, the court ordered that both accused persons be remanded pending further proceedings.
The case has been adjourned to 9 September 2026.
Both accused persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty by a competent court.
