As the electoral marathon is getting to its climax, there have been defections here and there but the latest one involving APC strongman under former President Ernest Bai Koroma known as Osward Hanciles aka Guru at this point in time is being highly welcome by members of the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP).
In a letter dated 17th May 2023, Mr Hanciles wrote that he would let members of the public be aware in a serial letter why he took the decision of joining the wagon of H.E. Bio at this point in time in the history of Sierra Leone.
“I hope to join the process of accelerated Singapore -type Lee Kwan Yew development under President Dr Julius Maada Bio in addition to my role in the Climate Change war; the greatest threat ever faced by the human race”, he eloquently established in his letter.
It could be recalled that in 2011 Osward Hanciles wrote and published the first-ever biography of the sitting President, titled: Natural Born Leader. His works landed him at State House working for Dr. Ernest Koroma till the 2018 Presidential Election which saw his former party thrashed out of power.
The Guru has been a columnist with 47 years post University experience in Liberia, Nigeria and his homeland Sierra Leone where he worked as a Civil Servant.
