Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday met with Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) President and Senate President Samdech Techo Hun Sen in Beijing.
Xi extended congratulations on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) and expressed his hope that the party will continue to lead Cambodia to new achievements in national development and construction.
Xi said China is willing to establish a security partnership with Cambodia and work together to make sustained efforts to eradicate the persistent problem of telecom fraud.
Xi said China highly commends Cambodia’s determination and efforts to crack down on telecom and online fraud.
Hun Sen said he fully agreed with Xi’s positive assessment of the ironclad friendship between China and Cambodia and of the two countries’ joint efforts to build an all-weather community with a shared future in the new era.
