A gardener, Sheku Samura, has been handed over to the Mammy Queen of Benguma Military Barracks by Magistrate Mustapha Brima Jah of Pademba Road Court No. 1. The defendant is standing trial on one count of unlawful possession, contrary to Section 13(1) of the Criminal Procedure Act No. 37, as amended by Section 5 of Act No. 6 of 1981.

According to the particulars of offence, on Tuesday, 31 March 2026, at Maburon Village off the Waterloo Highway in the Western Rural Area of Freetown, the defendant was allegedly found in possession of one old military bedroll, one old military fatigue cap, one old military coat, and other military items without lawful authority.
