Daniel Thompson a Footballer made another appearance before Magistrate Peter Brima Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on two count charges to wit Conspiracy contrary to law and Larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on Sunday 28th March 2023 at Sussex Village the western area in Freetown conspired together and with other persons unknown to commit a felony to wit Larceny on count two at the same place and date the accused person stole thirty lengths of five by eight inches iron rods each value three hundred and fifteen Leones (315) all to the total value of nine thousand four hundred and fifty Leones (9,450) property of Isha Barrie.
When the charges were read and explained to the accused person, he pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor Deputy Superintendent of Police Marie Sesay requested a short adjournment date due to the absence of her witness, and the accused was legally unrepresented.
Magistrate Gogra refused bail and sent the accused person to the male correctional centre in Freetown and the matter was adjourned to the 26th of June 2023 for further hearing.
