The APC Would Never See Power Again In Sierra Leone-FMR VP Victor B.Foh

Victor Bockarie Foh, the former esteemed Vice president of the republic of Sierra Leone has revealed that the main opposition All Peoples Congress (APC) will never see power again in Sierra Leone.

The APC strongman made the statement when the former Minister of Social Welfare, Gender and Children’s Affairs of the All People’s Congress Party (APC) Alhaji Moijeuh Kaikai, Independent Member of the Fifth Parliament of the Second Republic of Sierra Leone Hon. Shiaka Musa Sama, and host of staunch APC supporters in Pujehun District, declared their support for the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP).

The host of converters and reverters also endorsed President Bio’s re-election without run-off over the weekend in Pujehun district southern Sierra Leone. Former Vice President Victor Bockarie Foh also asserted that they would make sure that President Bio is re-elected without run-off.

 He said he was the Secretary General of the APC which brought victories for APC in 2007 and 2012.

 He re-emphasized that with his reunion and declaration for SLPP, the APC would never see power again in Sierra Leone.

In his declaration statement, Alhaji Moijueh Kaikai described the occasion as a very important day in the life of the people of Pujehun District.

 He categorically made it known that nobody forced him to make such a timely declaration for the SLPP other than the compelling leadership quality of President Bio.

 He recalled that he was in School together with President Bio and that; President Bio is a real SLPP man.

Moijueh Kaikai also intimated that he was used to paying school fees for over hundreds of pupils across Pujehun but with the introduction of the Free Quality Education, he confessed that such monies have been saved into his pocket.

 He continued that the free sanitary pads  distribution by the First Lady have  also contributed to saving money for parents across the district. He said it was only President Bio that moved him to join the SLPP.

“I want to tell everyone  listening to me  to know that with the support of my wife, I have declared  for SLP P and my target is to make  sure that if APC has  seven hundred votes in Pujehun, my aim is to  make sure that it is reduced to zero”, he said.

He therefore,  concluded by appealing to President Bio to empower the SLPP  District Executive to mobilize the campaign in order to  re-elect  him  (President Bio)  without run-off.

On his part, the Independent Member of Parliament representing constituency 104 Hon. Sheika Musa Sama,   said he acted base on the advice of the people who encouraged him to return to SLPP. He recalled that during the most difficult period in Gambia, he was the head of SLPP in Gambia who gave tremendous support to Leones Stars.

“I am here today to confess that President Bio is the most admirable leader”, he revealed.

 He said president Bio is a very good man with a golden heart. He added that he is also a member of the ECOWAs Parliament through the support and recommendation of President Bio.

 He said he is under no duress to support President Bio and the SLPP.

Hon. Sama said together with his supporters, they consulted and decided to go back to SLPP. He stated that with his declaration for SLPP, APC would always remain in opposition.  He assured President Bio that he is ready to work with Chief Kebby to resolve the Malen land brouhaha.  

The APC Alhaji Alpha Khan welcomed the returnees and assured all and sundry that his own formal declaration would be done in Portloko District. He said they are ready to support President Bio in thick and thin.

First Lady Fatima Bio said when she saw Moijueh Kaikai and Honorable Sama, declaring for SLPP, depicts  that SLPP would win the June 24th  Election  without run-off.  She considered President Bio as the luckiest President ever in the History of Sierra Leone. She added that due to President Bio’s enviable political drive in bringing people together, his name would be written in the history book of Sierra Leone. She said she would always celebrate President Bio for given voices to the women, paying fees for pupils among others.

President Bio in his welcoming statement said he felt elated to receive Moijueh Kaikai and Hon. Sama into the Party. He said as long as he is heading the Party, he would always open arms to any individual to join the party. He said he would try his possible best to do the road from Pujehun to Bondapi. He reminded that the hardship is a global crisis which has reflected in Sierra Leone and other parts of Africa.

 He assured that Pujehun would soon enjoy electricity supply before the election. President Bio encouraged all to show the APC that the re-election of President Bio is a matter of urgency and alacrity to them.
