In COFA Inter-Community League…Kroo Town Road Community Progresses To Semi-Finals

Kroo Town Road Community on 14th November 2022 progressed to the Semi-Finals stage after defeating Calaba Town Community by a goal to nil in the Central One Football Association inter-Community League Sponsored by President Julius Maada Bio in Collaboration with Gento group of Companies.

The Central One Football Association inter-Community keeps unfolding at the Parade grounds the competition has reached the Semi-Final Stage as five communities set to battle out for the Trophy.

Kroo Town Road Community knockout Murray Town Community by a goal to nil in the round of (16) and set up with Calaba Town for the quarter-finals stage and defeated them by a goal to nil. Calaba Town reaches the quarter-final stage after defeating Ginger Hall Community by a goal to nil.

Ernest Femi Harleston scored the only goal of the match which was enough to send his community to the Semi-finals stage of the competition and they will now face Mountain City Community in the last four of the competition as it getting tenser in the final stage.

 In the other match, Foulah Town Community defeated Central Community by a goal to nil and the only goal of the match came in the 63 minutes of play they held on to win the match and reached the Semi-final stage of the competition, they now face either Dove Cut Community or Summer Community in the last four.

Mohamed Yapo Sillah one of the Chief Organizers side an Association they have seat with the five Communities to map out strategic plans ahead of the Semi-final matches at the Parade grounds and any community that is found wanting the said Community will be kick-out of the Competition. Noting that the organizers aim to promote peace and not a violence-free tournament.
