Fatmata Kamara has on Monday 11 October 2021, discharged by Magistrate Hadiru K Daboh of Ross Road Court No 3 in Freetown, when her aunty Memunatu Bangura, the complainant accused her allegedly stolen twenty eight million Leones (Le28M). The accused Fatmata Kamara is charged with a count of Larceny contrary to Section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the charge sheet the accused on Sunday 25th April 2021, at Davies Street, Kissy, the Eastern part in Freetown, stole twenty eight million Leones property of Yayah Bangura.
The matter was discharged because the complainant asked the court to discontinue the matter and asked if it to be discharge, while she vouched to take the accused to her parents in Lunsar. Magistrate Daboh discharged the matter and the aunt who brought the action against her niece was escorted with the discharged accused to Lunsar so that she will not run away.
