Two young men, Foday Kamara and Morlai Sesay, have been remanded at the Male Correctional Centre in Freetown by Magistrate Mustapha Brima Jah of Pademba Road Court No. 1. They are facing two counts of conspiracy to commit a felony and office breaking and larceny, contrary to Section 26(1) of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence, on Saturday, 6th June 2026, at No. 48 Big Waterloo Street, Western Area, Freetown, the accused allegedly conspired with other persons unknown to commit a felony, namely office breaking and larceny.
The second count states that on the same date and at the same location, the defendants, with intent to steal, allegedly broke and entered the office of Logistics Solution and Services and stole one sub-massive machine and one HP laptop computer, with a total value of Le13,200, property of Logistics Solution and Services.
When the charges were read and explained to the defendants, no plea was taken as the matter is at committal proceedings.
The prosecutor, Deputy Superintendent of Police Eric A. Deen Esq., informed the court that both defendants had been served with a copy of the case file and inquiry documents. The defendants confirmed receipt of the documents.
Magistrate Jah refused bail, citing the seriousness of the offences, and ordered that the accused be remanded at the Male Correctional Centre.
The matter was adjourned to 30th June 2026.
