Thirty-five years old Mohamed Gobes made his first appearance before Magistrate Santigie Bangura of Pademba road court No.3 in Freetown on two count charges to wit Wounding Contrary to Section 20 of the offences against the person Act 1861 and assault occasioning actual bodily harm contrary to section 47 of the offences against the person Act 1861.

According to the particulars of offence on Thursday 19th October 2023 at Fireburn the western area in Freetown maliciously wounded and Assaulted Alie Sesay in a manner thereby occasioning him actual bodily harm.

When the charges was read and explained to the accused person he pleaded guilty

The accused person was unrepresented by legal representative.

Meanwhile, Magistrate Bangura adjourned the matter to the 29th November 2023 for record and sentenced Inspector Terencia Macfoy prosecute the matter.
