Prior to their departure slated for December 3, 2023, to take part in the ACA Tournament in South Africa, the Senior Men’s Patriots will engage Asian XI( the best of foreign players) in a test match scheduled for this Sunday at the Kingtom Oval.
This is in addition to other test matches held earlier with the Under-19 side. The aim is to strengthen the senior squad, heal visible wounds, and perfect acquired skills.
Last week, South African hired cricket expert Kenneth Masinga named the final 14 of the Senior Men’s Patriots ahead of the ACA Tournament in Benoni, South Africa.
The foreman made little changes to the squad that fought for the country’s qualification to the African Championship during the Lagos Showpiece.
Coach Kenneth believes the final 14 represent the best from the top.

Late last month, the Senior Men finished the Lagos Showpiece in the second spot and grabbed a ticket to the African Championship scheduled for next year.
