The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has congratulated two of its distinguished match officials, Aminata Fullah and Sulaiman Santio Kamara, following their latest appointments by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

Aminata Fullah has been appointed as the Fourth Official for the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) Morocco 2026 Group Stage match between Tanzania and Côte d’Ivoire, scheduled for 4 August 2026 in Casablanca.

The appointment marks her second involvement at the tournament after she previously made history as the centre referee for the match between Mali and Cape Verde, becoming the first Sierra Leonean referee to officiate at Africa’s premier women’s football competition.

Meanwhile, Sulaiman Santio Kamara has been appointed as the referee for the CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers (WAFU B) encounter between Burkina Faso and Niger, which will take place on 5 August 2026 in Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire.

This will also be Kamara’s second appointment in the competition, following his successful role as centre referee during the match between Togo and Nigeria.

The latest CAF appointments reflect the growing recognition and reputation of Sierra Leonean match officials on the continental stage. The SLFA commends Aminata Fullah and Sulaiman Santio Kamara for their achievements and wishes them continued success as they represent Sierra Leone in these prestigious assignments.
