East End Lions maintained top spot in the Sierra Leone Premier League (SLPL) standings having played to a goalless draw with their bitter rivals FC Kallon at the Siaka Stevens stadium on Saturday.
They moved a point clear over Wusum Stars who defeated Old Edwardians on Sunday at the Wusum ground in Makeni. Bo Rangers poor away form continue after their shock 1-0 defeat to Bai Bureh Warriors on Sunday at the Port Loko town field.
East End Tigers were held to a 1-1 draw in Freetown by Kamboi Eagles while Sierra Leone yet again faced with another defeat having lost to Central Parade 2-0 at their home ground in Kingtom. Anti-Drugs and Freetown City played to a goalless draw at the Atouga Mini complex. Mighty Blackpool walloped Ports Authority 2-0 to secure their third victory having failed to win their previous five games.
