The Sierra Leone Basketball Federation (SLBF), led by Ali Hijazi, is set to organize its first-ever “National League.”
To achieve this feat, President Ali Hijazi and executives formed a National League Committee headed by a former National player and experienced administrator named Jerrold Hadson Taylor. The National League Committee was presented to the National Sports Authority (NSA), who, in response, applauded President Ali’s led executive for the initiative.
A successful and welcomed shift that impressed the National Sports Authority’s Director of Sports and team. SLBF executive expressed their trust in the National League composition by highlighting the experience all the members bring on board.
The National League Committee is headed by Jerrold Hadson Taylor as Chairman, with Sheku Tejan Kamara Sir. as Secretary-General and Adeshyllon J Mansaray as Committee Media Person. Representatives from different regions are also present, as the SLBF Executive believes in inclusivity in sport and the importance of all regions being represented.

The SLBF is committed to achieving this bold step, and the Committee is preparing to set an official date and format.
