Senegalese Ligue 1 side, AS Pikine has confirmed the signing of attacking midfielder Saidu Sahid Fofanah (Okocha 10) from Sierra Leone Premier League side FC Kallon.
The former FC Kallon man has sealed an agreement with AS Pikine and with the club having already announced the acquisition of the former AIK and FC Kallon player on a free transfer.
“It is with great joy that we announce the signing of the International offensive midfielder with Sierra Leonean Saidou Sahid Fofanah, coming from FC Kallon, a Division 1 club in Sierra Leone.” a club statement confirmed.
Saidu Sahid Fofanah is currently on assignment with FC Kallon for the Coal City international tournament hosted in Nigeria, with the player expected to join his new club and the rest of his teammates in Senegal within the next few days.
AS Pikine ended the 2023/24 Senegal’s Ligue 1 season in 5th position with the club hoping to revamp its roster with some exceptionally new additions with the Ligue 1 side having already secured the services in the persons of Souabou Gningue, Mamadou Diop, Modou Séye Ndiiaye, Mohamed Johnson and Saidu Sahid Fofanah among the club’s newest acquisitions ahead of the 2024/25 Senegalese Ligue 1 season.
