Ibrahim Fofanah, a security guard, has made another appearance before Magistrate John Manso Fornah of Pademba Road Court No. 2 in Freetown on two counts of conspiracy and larceny contrary to Section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.

According to the particulars of the offence, the defendant allegedly conspired with other persons unknown on Saturday, 4 April 2026, at No. 2 Sesay Court, Hill Station, Freetown, to commit a felony, namely larceny.

Count two further alleged that, on the same date and at the same location, Fofanah stole five assorted air conditioners valued at Six Thousand Five Hundred Leones (Le6,500) each, bringing the total value of the stolen items to Thirty-Two Thousand Five Hundred Leones (Le32,500). The items were said to be the property of Alhaji Kemoh Sesay.

When the charges were read and explained to the defendant, no plea was taken because the matter is before the court as committal proceedings.

The prosecutor, Sergeant 3379 Theresa Ballay, requested a short adjournment because her witness was absent from court.

Meanwhile, Magistrate Fornah adjourned the matter to 4 June 2026. Bail was extended for the defendant.
