Orange Sierra Leone has reaffirmed its commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence following the conclusion of Customer Service Week 2026, marked by nationwide activities aimed at strengthening relationships with subscribers and recognising customer loyalty.
The week-long celebration, held from October 5 to 9 under the theme “Going the Extra Mile,” brought together customers, employees and stakeholders to promote a customer-focused culture and highlight the importance of quality service delivery.
Speaking at the launch of the programme, Orange Sierra Leone’s Customer Experience Director, David S. Mansaray, said outstanding customer service depends on trust, responsiveness and a clear understanding of customers’ needs.
He encouraged employees to embrace innovation, teamwork and continuous improvement, emphasising that customer satisfaction should be reflected in everyday interactions with subscribers rather than being limited to special occasions.
Chief Executive Officer Aïcha Touré also commended customers for their continued loyalty and confidence in the company. She noted that customer feedback plays a vital role in identifying areas for improvement and helping the company respond to changing expectations.
As part of the celebrations, long-standing customers received special gifts in recognition of their continued support, while Orange employees engaged directly with subscribers in communities and public spaces across the country.
The outreach activities provided customers with opportunities to share their experiences, raise concerns and make suggestions regarding network performance, service reliability and customer support. Subscribers also acknowledged the company’s contribution to expanding telecommunications services and digital connectivity in Sierra Leone.
Orange Sierra Leone said the initiative reflected its core values of Care, Boldness and Responsibility, noting that effective customer service goes beyond addressing complaints to include active engagement, listening and continuous improvement.
The company further emphasised that delivering a positive customer experience is the responsibility of every employee, regardless of department or position.
As Customer Service Week 2026 concluded, Orange Sierra Leone renewed its commitment to placing customers at the centre of its operations while continuing to improve service delivery, expand connectivity and promote digital inclusion nationwide.
Company officials said the theme, “Going the Extra Mile,” represents more than a campaign slogan, stressing that it reflects the company’s commitment to listening to customers, responding to their needs and continually improving the quality of services provided across the country.
