The presiding magistrate of Ross Road court No.1, Sahr Kekura has in an open court complained police Sergeant 9707 Ensa DF to the chief prosecutor Ibrahim Mansaray for being so rude to his superior.

Sergeant Ensa who supposed to testify in a theft matter between the Inspector General of Police and accused Mohamed Jalloh continuously making mistakes  even though the prosecutor Assistant Superintendent of Police Osman Mohamed Bangura and the Bench tries to guard him.

Earlier before the alleged blunder, Sergeant Ensa attached to the Criminal Investigation Department Ross Road police station Freetown East recognized the accused person.

He said on the 23rd May 2023, he was on duty when the accused was arrested and brought in by the Anti-Drug Unit headed by inspector Kabba M Z.

Reaching that point, he made serious blunder and was about to be corrected when he put up defense.

He was arguing his boss ‘pick pocket’ to the point that the prosecutor was left with no option but to inform the Bench that the witness is the man who has been giving him problem.

Magistrate Kekura ordered the prosecutor to go and report him to the CDIID.

Speaking from the dock, the police officer argumentatively said he has not been working, but magistrate Sahr Kekura said it is not an excuse, because not being working doesn’t mean he should forget what he was mandated to do.

“My Friend that is not the ethics, I believe you should not have any altercation with your senior”, Magistrate Kekura confronted him.

Right on the sport, Magistrate Sahr Kekura complained him to the chief prosecutor of Pademba Road Court No 1 Ibrahim Mansaray who was in court and further stated that they need to go and school him again on the ethics of being a police officer.

Magistrate Kekura however adjourned the matter to the 27th of September 2023 for continuation.
