Magistrate Sahr Kekura of Pademba Road Magistrate Court No.1 in Freetown has discharged the matter between Mohamed Turay and the Inspector General of Police.

The accused person made several appearances before the court for larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.

According to the particulars of offence, the accused person on Saturday 5th October 2024 at Mambo Village, did steal thirty-two length iron rod valued three hundred and twenty thousand new Leones each, total value of ten thousand and fifty new Leones (Le10,050.00) property of Patrick Kamara.

Inspector Sellu did prosecute the matter.

In the interest of justice, Magistrate Kekura discharge the matter for want of evidence.
