Fourah Bay Community Football club (Orthodox Football Club) has on the 6th December 2021 thrash Hill Station Community at the S.S Camp artificial turf playing.
Issa Kamara got the opening goal for Fourah Bay Community in the twenty minutes of play, the goal came through converting a loose ball from the defense of Hill Station to register his first goal in the Orange Junior Challenge U-13 tournament.
After the recessed Fourah Bay Community double their lead as Augustine Morris a player in the 11 number Jersey scored three second-half goals as they continue their search for more goals.
Hill Station Community, however fight back in the second half as they got their second goal from a player in the 6 Jersey recieved a loose ball through the defense of Fourah Bay Community that goal did not create any impact as they lose by four goals to two. The goal Keeper of Hill Station won the man of the match award.
Kai George Williams the Assistant coach one of Fourah Bay Community said he feels happy when his side has progress to the next round of the competition.
“What I show my boys in the training they implement most of it and am confident my boys are going to win the trophy and make the trip to Cameroon.
Abu Bakarr Bah, coach of Hill Station said he feels disappointed when his side lose but that is Football they go back and prepared for and other tournament.
According to Mohamed Kallon head of Communications at Orange Mobile Company said they feel excited about the tournament, as a potential sponsor of the Africa Cup of Nations, and they are going to be active in the tournament and that move them as a company to organize such competition.
He affirmed that after the Junior Challenge tournament, they are going to organize Youth Football in the Country as a way of giving back to Sierra Leoneans in the Country and the winner of the Junior Challenge will make Cameroon come on the 7th of January 2022.
