The Sierra Leone Premier League continues today and over the weekend as the defending champion East End Lions set to host Anti-Drugs Football Club at the Wusum Stadium.

East End Lions are going into this fixture after securing a comfortable win against the league leaders Bo Rangers last weekend at the same venue as they close the gap on the league leader by two points gap, a win in today’s match will see them extend their top the table by a point different with Bo Rangers as they will have to travel to Freetown to play against Freetown City Council football club.

On Saturday at the Brima Attouga mini Stadium Freetown City Council football club will host the league leaders BO Rangers Football club at 4:15 kick-off, the venue of the match was initially scheduled to play at the BO Stadium, but East End Lions Executive refutes that by saying if the match play there it gives an advantage to the away team considering it their host ground so the Secretariat of Freetown City council football had to put a notice of the relocation of the crunch tie to the Brima Stadium on Saturday.

The management of the Freetown City Council Football club wants to bring the attention of the public that their crunch tie with BO Rangers Football club has been relocating to the club hosting ground at the Brima Attouga mini Stadium after it was initially scheduled to commence at the BO mini Stadium.

The management further states that ” FCFC has unanimously decided to relocate the match against BO Rangers Football club to the Brima Attouga Mini Stadium, due to administrative decision taken by the relevant stakeholders to cancel the proposed three (3) days Municipal Football Gala Competition that was initially meant to commemorate Sierra Leone’s Independence Celebrations on the 27th April 2022. We are sorry for any inconvenience. A Statement from the FCFC Secretariat reads.

Freetown City Council Football club currently sits in the tenth position on the log with thirty -five points that will face BO Rangers who are desperate to return to winning ways.

At the Kenema City field, Central Parade football club will host Kamboi Eagles football club @ 4:15 kick as both teams looking to return to winning ways after both lost their last matches in the ongoing Premier League.

At Museum Stadium on Saturday RSLAF Football club will host Diamond Stars, as Diamond Stars want to continue with their winning run and avoid also avoid the relegation zone a win will take them (29) points and the seat thirteen a point above Port Authority football club. While a win for RSLAF will take them above FC Johansen in the ninth position.

At the Magburaka field, the East End Tigers Football club will welcome the Old Edwardian football club as both teams are going into this fixture after winning their last matches respectively, a win for Old Edwardian will level on point with Diamond Stars in the Seventh position, but a win for the Yellow submarine East End Tigers will take them level on points with FC Kallon.

At the Port Loko mini-stadium, Bai Bureh Warriors will welcome FC Kallon as both teams tease a wining in their last matches respectively and they want to continue that trend, currently, Bai Bureh Warriors are three-point above relegation and a win will help secure a stay in the Premier League, while a win for FC Kallon strength the third position in the ongoing Premier League table.
