Dongfeng Motor Corporation commenced its 10th Science and Technology Innovation Week and the 1st User Lifestyle Festival in Wuhan on Monday, September 14, 2026, under the theme “Wind from the East, Creating a Smart Life.”
During the opening event, Dongfeng Motor officially unveiled three major initiatives: the “Sky-Clean Zero-Carbon” Plan, the Embodied Intelligent Vehicle All-Domain Protection Plan, and the “Sky Horizon Voyage” Plan. The initiatives highlight the company’s latest progress in new energy technologies, intelligent vehicle safety and global expansion.
The company also launched the “Dongfeng Youxin” service brand, establishing direct channels and platforms for communication with users. Through the new service brand, Dongfeng aims to accelerate user participation and co-creation while providing reliable, full-lifecycle services based on trust, commitment and value.
In his keynote address, Yang Qing, Chairman of Dongfeng Motor Corporation, said the company is focusing on the growing demand for safe, intelligent and environmentally friendly mobility.
By continuously developing smart products and new mobility experiences, Dongfeng has earned the trust and recognition of more than 64 million users worldwide, according to the company.
“For the 15th Five-Year Plan period, Dongfeng Motor will fully embrace the wave of the artificial intelligence era and further deepen its presence in the green and low-carbon industry,” Yang Qing said.
He added that the company will focus on national strategic priorities, secure and controllable industrial supply chains, the cultivation of user demand and improvements in product competitiveness.
According to Yang, Dongfeng will continue to develop products and services that exceed user expectations while creating a better automotive experience for consumers.
Looking ahead, Dongfeng Motor said it will remain committed to independent technological innovation and strengthening its full-stack technical capabilities.
The company also plans to enhance collaboration across open and integrated ecosystems while accelerating its transformation into a technology-driven, international and youth-oriented enterprise.
