The Bo District Health Management Team (DHMT) outlined progress for the timely implementation and enhancing service delivery during its first management meeting held on 7th January 2025, at the DHMT conference room.
The meeting, chaired by the District Medical Officer (DMO), Dr. Amara Steven Ngegbai, brought together key focal points and stakeholders within the health sector.
The primary objective of the meeting was to review and assess the progress of the team’s activities. Each focal point provided updates on their respective areas, highlighting achievements, ongoing challenges, and pending tasks. The team also revisited previous action points, deliberating on the necessary steps to ensure timely implementation and enhanced service delivery.
Dr. Ngegbai emphasized the importance of teamwork and accountability in achieving the district’s health objectives. “This meeting sets the tone for the year as we reaffirm our commitment to delivering quality healthcare services to the people of Bo. It is crucial that we address outstanding issues and maintain consistent follow-up on all action points,” he stated.
The meeting concluded with a renewed sense of purpose, with participants pledging to strengthen collaboration and improve the efficiency of healthcare delivery across the district.
