Today marks a proud and historic moment for our nation as the Lunsar Cycling Team Sierra Leone departs for Accra, Ghana to participate in the 2025 Ride Afrique. This afternoon, six of our finest cyclists embark on a journey not just to compete, but to fly the Green, White, and Blue on the international stage.
On April 19th, these dedicated young riders will take on riders from across the continent carrying the hopes, spirit, and determination of an entire nation. Their presence at Ride Afrique is a powerful testament to how far cycling in Sierra Leone has come, and a promise of even greater things to come.
With 6 riders proudly representing both the Lunsar Cycling Club and the entire Sierra Leonean community, we send our best wishes to these champions-in-the-making. Race hard, ride with pride, and let your strength and unity echo through every pedal stroke.
