The much-anticipated Afrimoney National Basketball League Playoffs will officially tip off tomorrow, with teams across Sierra Leone preparing for intense battles as they chase places in the quarterfinals.
Basketball fans are expected to witness exciting matchups across the country as provincial teams look to prove their strength against some of the nation’s top clubs.
In Kono, Diamond Magic will host Dock Cannol from Freetown, with the winner advancing to face Archibald Red Flames in Quarterfinal Game 1. Meanwhile, Net Hoopsterz of Kenema will take on Eastern Ballers from Freetown, and the winner of that encounter will book a quarterfinal date with Cannol Royals in Quarterfinal Game 2.
In Makeni, Shooting Stars will host Kennedy Net from Freetown, with the victorious side progressing to face reigning giants Forcians in Quarterfinal Game 3. Over in Bo Town, Southern Ballers will battle MurrayDeen Heat, and the winner will move on to face Sierra Titans in Quarterfinal Game 4.
With the playoffs set to begin, excitement is already building across the clubs. Teams from the provinces will be eager to show determination, resilience, and the ability to upset the established powerhouses from the capital.
