Jabbie was charged with larceny by servant, contrary to Section 17(1)(a).

According to the charge sheet, Jabbie allegedly stole a white Toyota Hilux bearing registration number AWT 771 on April 25, 2026, at Lumley, Freetown, while employed as a servant by Kingho Mining Company. The vehicle was valued at US$40,000, equivalent to NLe 960,000, and belongs to the mining company.

The charge sheet further stated that Jabbie, a Sierra Leonean residing at No. 6 Brima Lane, Bo City, was arrested on September 14, 2026, at 17:15 hours. The complaint was reportedly made by the Inspector General of Police on August 27, 2026.

When the matter came before the court, the charge was read to Jabbie, but no plea was taken.
