Bo Rangers Football Club, the reigning Leone Rock Premier League champions, have completed the signing of Ishmiel Baba Sheriff from Francess FC of Kenema ahead of the 2026/27 league campaign.
The club announced the signing and warmly welcomed Sheriff to the Rangers family, expressing confidence that he will contribute to the team’s efforts to defend their league title.
Sheriff began his football career with Francess FC in Kenema before joining FC Kallon, where he impressed during the 2025/26 season with his attacking performances, including goals and assists.
His performances at FC Kallon reportedly attracted the attention of Bo Rangers, who have now secured his services as they strengthen their squad for the new season.
Bo Rangers won the 2025/26 Leone Rock Premier League title by five points, finishing ahead of teams including Bai Bureh Warriors, East End Lions and FC Kallon.
The club is now aiming to retain the league title while also preparing for a return to CAF inter-club competitions during the 2026/27 season.
Sheriff is expected to add pace and attacking options to the Rangers squad, particularly on the wings, where his speed and ability to create opportunities could strengthen the team’s attacking play.
Bo Rangers will begin their title defence against newly promoted Western United FC at the Southern Arena Stadium in Bo City.
