Consistent with his newfound agenda to reach out to Sierra Leone Peoples Party stalwarts at the grass, the Chief Minister Jacob Jusu Saffa has once again surfaced In Moyamba where he was greeted by a throng of supporters. The Chief Minister was accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Youths Affairs.
The on the spot working visit, according to the Chief Minister is intended to consolidate the political base of the country and would be extended to other parts of the country.
Addressing youths during the visit the Chief Minister, Jacob Jusu Saffa motivated then to take up active roles in nation-building, act responsibly and be disciplined. He assured the various groups that HE President Julius Maada Bio is looking forward to young and energetic people to brace up for leadership roles in his administration.
This meet the people initiative is designed to better understand the challenges of party constituents raise policy awareness and developmental plans and used such events to capture the concerns of the people.
Speaker after speaker lauded the effort of the government of President Bio for progress made in diverse sectors to ameliorate the livelihood support gaps they are contending with.
Where challenges were identified the Chief Minister reassured the people of Moyamba that as listening government, actions will be taken to respond to the concerns in due course.
