Chairman Med-K Provides Le 88 Million to Strengthen Voter Eligibility

The East Urban District Chairman, Mohamed Kamara, popularly known as Med-K, on Monday, 19 January 2026, provided financial support amounting to Le 88 million (old Leones) to the 11 constituencies in the East Urban District to enhance the voter eligibility update process ahead of the party’s upcoming lower-level elections.

The presentation ceremony was held at Eastern Paddies, where constituency chairpersons, constituency executive members, and party officials gathered to receive the support. The initiative forms part of Chairman Med-K’s ongoing efforts to strengthen party structures and ensure that all eligible members are properly captured during the voter update exercise ahead of the primary elections.
