The dynamic Deputy Leader of Government Business, Hon. Bashiru Silike, visited Saola Village in the Bo District’s Baoma Chiefdom over the weekend to oversee the ongoing construction of a key bridge linking several villages and towns. The project, which costs over a billion Leones, is part of his commitment and efforts to improve infrastructure and promote regional development.
The Saola Bridge, once completed, will connect Maojeh Section, Kigbai Town and other nearby villages, significantly enhancing agricultural activities in the area. The improved bridge will also facilitate quicker transportation for both vehicles and motorbikes, improving access and connectivity in this vital part of the country.
At the construction site, Hon. Silike emphasized the importance of the bridge, particularly in enhancing agricultural farming and promoting economic activities in the region. He highlighted how the infrastructure project would ease travel and improve the livelihoods of the local communities.
