Newly appointed ambassadors from the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Republic of Guinea, and the Kingdom of Belgium have presented credence to His Excellency President Julius Maada marking a significant step in enhancing Sierra Leone’s diplomatic relationships on Thursday 12th December 2024.
These ambassadors include Her Excellency Madam Rasha Soliman Mohi EIDin Soliman from Egypt, His Excellency Mr. Julien Yombouno of Guinea, and Her Excellency Mrs. Carole Van Eyll representing Belgium.
The presentation of credence underscores Sierra Leone’s commitment to fostering strong bilateral ties with these nations.
During the ceremony, President Bio expressed enthusiasm about the potential for collaboration on shared interests, saying, “We are committed to deepening our relationships as we collaborate on mutual benefits.” His remarks highlight Sierra Leone’s strategic focus on strengthening international partnerships to enhance economic, cultural, and political ties.
