Speaking at the event, Nathaniel Russell, the Public Relations officer of the Daddy Saj Foundation said the CEO and founder of the Foundation, Daddy Saj saw the level of constraints the people of Charlotte village especially pregnant women and lactating mothers had to undergo in accessing health care in the village and so decided to render help first as a Sierra Leonean but also as a former resident of Charlotte village. He noted that the Charlotte Community Health Post had been without some basic medical facilities including poor wash facilities, electricity supply among others; which he said the have now fixed. The Public relations officer of the Daddy Saj Foundation called on the residents of the village to take a very good care of the health facility as the foundation has played its own part.

Aminata Samura, the nurse in charge of the Charlotte Community Health Post pointed out that they at the health post are very grateful to the Daddy Saj Foundation for coming to their rescue at this crucial time. She confessed that initially when the Foundation approached them with talks about improving the facility they thought it was one big joke, but now they have seen it all. Mrs. Samura called on other philanthropists to emulate the Daddy Saj Foundation by helping other communities with such problems.

The Daddy Saj Foundation is said to have been rendering assistance to vulnerable Sierra Leonean children and other groups of people including some people that were involved in the recent fire disaster at the Susan’s Bay Community.
