President Bio has reappointed Yusuf Keketoma Sandi Esq. as Press Secretary at State House, entrusting him once again with the responsibility of overseeing the general communication architecture of the Presidency.

Yusuf Keketoma Sandi had previously served diligently in this role between April 2018 and July 2023, also concurrently holding the position of Presidential Spokesman to the President. During this period, his exceptional skills in handling public issues and his ability to bring the presidency closer to the people earned him widespread admiration.

Following the June 2023 elections, Keketoma took on the role of Deputy Information Minister, where he played a crucial role in managing and coordinating government information, particularly during a highly critical period.

His reappointment reflects President Bio’s continued commitment to empowering young people in nation-building. Keketoma’s return is expected to further strengthen the working relations between the Bio-led administration and the media, aiming to foster development in Sierra Leone.

As a longstanding ally of the President, Keketoma is known for his loyalty and dedication to advancing President Bio’s agenda. His people-centered approach and open-door policy have made him a well-regarded figure, especially among the SLPP grassroots. Many anticipate that his return to State House will bring excitement to numerous supporters.
