25 years old Yvett Kamara made his first appearance before Magistrate Peter Brima Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on a count of Larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on Saturday 21st October at No.9 white street the western area in Freetown Stole one smart 6HD mobile phone valued two thousand Leones (2,000) Property of Tina Kendeh.
When the charge was and explained to the accused person, she pleaded guilty.
The prosecutor Inspector Mohamed Kamara told the bench that fact as charge no available records against the accused person.
Whilst the accused person was unrepresented by legal representative in court she pleaded with the court to temper justice with mercy she told the court that she is a single mother with a five years old Girl.
Due to the plea mitigation by the accused person Magistrate Gogra sentenced her to three months imprisonment to the female correctional facility in Freetown.
