After just one season in charge at the club, Real Republicans FC has decided to part ways with former legend and manager Kewullay Conteh.
According to Chairman Alhaji Umaru Bah, the decision to relieve the Coach of his services has been a ‘very difficult decision’ and other executive members and the management has not taken it lightly.
The Club pointed out the recent results and performances have not met the expectations set.
Chairman Bah pointed out, there could never be a good time to part ways with a club legend such as Conteh.
Following the poor performance in the second phase of the 2022/23 season and two defeats, two draws in the last four games in the current season, one could have foreseen Kewullay’s future at the club for quite some time now.
Meanwhile, the assistant coach, Ibrahim Abrray Bangura will be in charge of the team.
The Soccer ambassador has started poorly this 2023/2024 Leone Rock Premier League campaign, which has caused the club to part ways with the Former Leone Stars player.
