Some residents of Bo, who claimed to be supporters of the All Peoples Congress (APC) Party have lauded President Bio over his three years in office. They say he is delivery on his promises, which will earn him another second term in office in 2023.
Speaking in an upbeat mood along Fenton Road, Agnes Pratt said that “as a parent when the burden of paying school fees is lifted off your shoulders it becomes a huge relief.”
Agnes who is an APC party card bearer said that that the Free and quality education introduced by the Bio administration will make the President go for the second term in office without any iota of doubt.
Another parent, Sullay Koroma said that the fight against corruption by President Bio with the appointment of Francis Ben Kaifala is a step in the right direction and that she is happy to hear that the money retrieved from corruption will be used to erect a medical facility.
Sullay said that it is good for those who want to be leaders of this country to emulate the good work of President Bio.
Kadiatu Bah said that she was impressed with the action taken by President Bio to institute the commissions of Inquiry to ensure that the looters of our economy bring back our monies meant for the development of the country.
Ms. Bah continued that she hopes commissions of Inquiry should be entrenched in the constitution to ensure that those who want to rule the country are accountable to the people of the country at the end of their term.
A youth, Sam Kargbo said that the car wash project introduced by President Bio has helped him secure a job. He pleaded with the president to expand the projects in other parts of the country where it has not been established.
A student of St Andrew Secondary School, Iye Kallon said that the free and quality education is a good initiative but the president should ensure that there is no delay in disbursing the fee subsidy to heads of schools.
A student of Njala University, Brima Ngegba said that he was happy to hear that president Bio has secured tractors for the agriculture sector but called on President to ensure that farm implements are used for the intended purpose.
Some Civil society activists in Bo told Classic Radio that if President Bio wants to be re-elected he should ensure that the local council gets their budgetary allocations on time to ensure that they take the needed services to the door step of the people.
According to them, the delay in disbursement of funds is making the council infective to deliver services to the people in the rural areas.
