East End Lions Football Club trashes Struggling Freetonians FC by five goals to nil and maintains a second spot in the Sierra Leone Premier League at the Trade Centre Field.

Sulaiman Kargbo raised the curtain before Mohamed Kamara made it two and Prince Barrie added a third with a stunning strike.

There was still time for Prince to score his second and East End Lions’ fourth as Mohamed netted again in stoppage time to seal the win.

The Killers registered their third consecutive clean sheet and have stretched the gap in the second by four points (W13, D7, L4).

Freetonians SLIFA, who beat Lamboi FC 1-0 in midweek, lost their sixth game of the season, with eleven draws and seven wins.

Meanwhile, Kamboi Eagles walloped struggling Wilberforce Strikers 3-0 to end a three-game winless run and boost their survival hopes.

Bo Rangers continued their winning way by beating Real Republicans 2-0. The Elephants are still leading the table by twelve points.

The Elephants will next host Old Edwardian Football Club in a crunch tie as the May Park boys looking to extend their lead to in the log of the Premier League standing, but they have to stiff fight the defending Champions BO Rangers Football Club.

At the Parade ground Old Edwardian Football Club defeats Port Authority by a goal to nil, the only of the match came in the first half through the penalty spot and they held to snatch all three points. Ahead of the clash against the Elephants, the club has added three more players who are going to boost the squad to face an informed BO Rangers said at the BO Mini Stadium. the players the club brought in are Mohamed Kargbo, a nineteen-year-old goalkeeper from a division two team in Tombo, Ibrahim Sorie Mansaray, another experienced goalkeeper from East End Lions, and Sembu Kargbo, a midfielder from BO Rangers Football Club.

At the Brima Attougia Mini Stadium, Freetown City Council defeats Diamond Stars by a goal to nil to comfortably avoid the relegation zone as they continue their fight in a stand of the Premier League.  Citizens next face Freetonian SLIFA in cracker as both sides look to continue their good run in Sierra Leone Premier League, a win for Freetonian SLIFA will see them go above Port Authority in sixth position.

Kamboi Eagles Football Club secure a comfortable win against struggling Wilberforce Strikers by three goals to nil a home at the Kenema Townfield the win leapfrogs them from the relegation battle. The Sierra Leone Premier League Continues this weekend with interesting fixtures as East End Lions Football Club traveled to Kailahun to face Luawa Football Club at the town field
