Twenty-three years old Ansumana Serry a Tiller made his first appearance before Magistrate Peter Brima Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on a count of Larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on Saturday 18th March 2023 at #42 New Town off Wilkinson road the western area in Freetown did steal one freezer pot valued one thousand five hundred Leones (1,500) property of Hassan Kemoh Daramy.
The charge was read and explained to the accused person and he pleaded not guilty
The prosecutor Inspector Mohamed Kamara told the bench that his witness is absent and he seeks for a short adjournment date whilst the accused person was unrepresented by legal representative. Meanwhile Magistrate Gogra refused bail and sent the accused person to the male correctional center in Freetown matter adjourned to the 31st March 2023 for further hearing.
