The High Court of Sierra Leone, through Honourable Justice Momoh Jah Stevens, has lifted the interim injunction slammed on Cricket Sierra Leone that prevented the Company from holding its 2022 Annual General Meeting two weeks ago.

The Company now has the mandate to fix a new date for the conduct of its 80th AGM.

The Company Secretary and legal adviser have been instructed to inform the Member’s Council accordingly.

Meanwhile, Cricket Sierra Leone received a court order dated 14th February 2023 preventing the holding of its AGM two weeks ago after an application made by four individuals, citing eight prayers against the Company and its Chairman.

This came in whilst efforts were being made by the Ministry of Sport and the National Sports Authority to quell the divide with 13-point recommendations.

On the lighter side, as part of early preparation to win glory and to brandish the Green, White, and, Blue on the international scene, Cricket Sierra Leone has invited twenty-three top-notch cricketers to a high-performance training camp ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Division 1 Qualifier slated for July in Kigali Rwanda.
