Skye Bank MD Defence Team keeps Asking for Adjournment

The murder matter between the state and Bolajeh Nicole, former manager of Skye Bank has suffered serious setback from the former who is supposed to prosecute him keep seeking for adjournments.

The forty six years old  is before Magistrate Mark Ngegba of Pademba road court No.1 in Freetown on three count charges of Conspiracy to Murder, Contrary to Section 4 of the offences against the person Act, 1861, Murder and perverting the cause of justice Contrary to law.

According to the particulars of offence on diverse dates between the 15th to 16th October 2022 at the Leicester village the western area in Freetown conspired with other persons unknown to Murder Sinnah Kai Kargbo.

 On count three at the same place and date knowing well the circumstances leading to the death of Sinnah Kai Kargbo did on the 17th October 2022 and other days thereafter fabricated evidence with intent to pervert the cause of justice.

When the accused was arraigned, the presiding magistrate, Marke Ngegba urged the state that they should prepare to commence because he don`t want to waste time with the matter.

The prosecution on the above matter has docked nine witnesses including the medical doctor Mohammed Aly Bangura attached to Connaught and Shuman hospitals who narrated what he discovered when the deceased was taken to Shuman hospital.

They also docked the ninth prosecution witness detective inspector Mathew Abdul Karim Vangahun has identified six female dresses and panties, bra, Samsung mobile phone, one bedspread and two pillow cases handed over to him during the cause of investigation.

Shortly after the matter was mentioned for further hearings, the substantive prosecutor Ahmed J M Bockarie was absent. Another state counsel Amadu Jalloh soughted the Bench leave, adding that he has confide with the defense.

Magistrate Marke Ngegba adjourned the matter to the 27th of February 2023.
